Key points
- Innate Pharma (NASDAQ:IPHA) announced that the PACIFIC-9 Phase 3 trial data readout has been delayed to the first half of 2027.
- AstraZeneca revised the timeline because the study is event-driven, moving the expected readout from the second half of 2026.
- The trial evaluates durvalumab combined with monalizumab or oleclumab in patients with unresectable Stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Innate Pharma (NASDAQ:IPHA) announced that high-level data from the PACIFIC-9 Phase 3 trial are now expected in the first half of 2027, following a timeline revision by AstraZeneca (NYSE:AZN).
The readout was previously expected in the second half of 2026, and the revised schedule reflects the event-driven design of the clinical study.
Innate Pharma said AstraZeneca had updated the expected timing of the readout, citing the event-driven nature of the study.
PACIFIC-9 evaluates durvalumab combined with either monalizumab or oleclumab in patients with unresectable Stage III NSCLC whose disease has not progressed after platinum-based chemoradiation therapy, and enrollment is complete.
Monalizumab is an anti-NKG2A antibody developed by Innate Pharma in collaboration with AstraZeneca, which obtained full oncology rights to the drug in October 2018 through a co-development and commercialization agreement established in 2015.
The trial is led by AstraZeneca and examines treatment combinations for patients with locally advanced lung cancer who have not experienced disease progression following chemoradiation.
