Innate Pharma plans Phase 3 trial after Sobi deal

Innate Pharma (NASDAQ:IPHA) announced plans to begin the TELLOMAK-3 confirmatory Phase 3 study of lacutamab in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, subject to completion of its strategic partnership with Sobi.

The planned trial follows TELLOMAK Phase 2 data and is intended to support a potential accelerated approval filing for lacutamab in Sézary syndrome, while Innate continues development of its oncology pipeline.

The Sobi partnership includes a $75 million upfront payment payable at closing, along with near-term development milestones linked to Sézary syndrome, which Innate said are expected to support TELLOMAK-3 execution and extend projected cash runway through Q3 2027.

Innate will conduct the TELLOMAK-3 Phase 3 confirmatory trial in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma under the planned partnership structure, while continuing work on IPH4502 and monalizumab clinical programs.

Markus Jensen will become Chief Medical Officer and join Innate’s Executive Leadership Team on September 1, 2026, after serving as head of clinical pharmacology and global clinical lead for key programmes.

Innate said the transaction remains subject to closing conditions, including regulatory antitrust clearance, while the company continues to evaluate additional financing options.
