Russia's central bank will allow licensed forex dealers to offer cryptocurrency contracts for difference (CFDs) to qualified investors.
The new rules limit crypto CFDs to professional investors who meet Russia's eligibility requirements.
"The decision applies only to qualified investors," the Bank of Russia said.
Crypto CFDs let investors trade cryptocurrency price movements without buying or holding digital assets.
