
Hong Kong-listed HashKey Holdings said HashKey Exchange received JPMorgan approval to open a client money account.
The account will support customer fund segregation and settlement through JPMorgan Chase banking infrastructure.
HashKey also activated a customer funds account with Singapore's DBS Bank on June 30 for fiat deposits, withdrawals and settlements.
The JPMorgan approval expands HashKey's banking infrastructure as the company combines its regional crypto services under one platform.
HashKey merged its Hong Kong, Global, Singapore and Middle East exchange operations into one platform in late July.
HashKey listed in Hong Kong in December after raising US$206 million through its initial public offering.
HashKey and Visa launched a crypto-linked credit card for Hong Kong users with rewards of up to 4%.
