Champion Iron is an iron ore mining and development company producing high-purity iron ore concentrate. Operating through its subsidiary Quebec Iron Ore Inc., the company owns and operates the Bloom Lake Mining Complex located in the Labrador Trough in Quebec, Canada. The flagship operation produces high-grade iron ore concentrate transported by rail to port facilities in Sept-Îles for export to steelmakers globally. Champion Iron is also upgrading its production to direct-reduction quality pellet feed and holds extensive iron ore exploration assets across Quebec and Labrador, as well as mining operations in Norway through Rana Gruber.
