WhiteHawk Minerals Corp. (NYSE:WHK) announced the closing of approximately $111.8 million in acquisitions, including the $105 million purchase of Marcellus, Utica, and Haynesville Shale natural gas mineral and royalty assets from San Jacinto Minerals II.
The transaction follows WhiteHawk Minerals’ previously announced plans from August 12, 2026, and was completed alongside new financing activities that included a $50 million Series E Preferred Stock issuance and a $75 million private placement of Class A common stock
The acquisitions were funded with proceeds from the preferred stock issuance completed on September 23, 2026, and the common stock private placement completed on September 21, 2026, while the company also increased its reserve-based revolving credit facility borrowing capacity to $175 million, which remains undrawn.
WhiteHawk Minerals focuses on acquiring mineral and royalty interests connected to oil and natural gas properties, including assets in major U.S. shale regions such as Marcellus, Utica, and Haynesville.
The company has recently expanded its asset portfolio through acquisitions and financing transactions designed to support its mineral and royalty ownership strategy, with the latest transaction adding additional natural gas-related assets.
