  • Vertical Aerospace signed two long-term supplier agreements with ANH Structure and Northrop Grumman LITEF for its Valo electric aircraft.
  • ANH Structure will develop a seating system using 30G energy-absorption technology, while NG LITEF will provide flight-critical navigation equipment.
  • Vertical said the agreements support its strategy to develop one aircraft platform for multiple cabin configurations and commercial and defence applications.

Vertical Aerospace (NYSE:EVTL) signed two long-term supplier agreements with ANH Structure and Northrop Grumman LITEF to supply seating and navigation systems for its Valo electric aircraft.

The agreements expand Vertical's existing supplier network, which includes Honeywell Aerospace, Evolito, Hyundai WIA, Sonaca, Syensqo, Isoclima and Astronics.

"Valo is progressing from an advanced design into an aircraft supported by the people, systems and industrial capability needed for certification and production at scale," said Vertical Aerospace CEO Stuart Simpson.

ANH Structure will develop and certify seats featuring 30G energy-absorption technology, while NG LITEF will supply its LCR-110 inertial reference system to provide aircraft position, attitude and heading data.

Vertical said the agreements support its aircraft certification and production plans across multiple configurations, while its shares last closed at approximately $0.43 on October 15, before a confirmed post-announcement reaction was available.

Vertical's Valo platform is being developed for four- and six-passenger configurations, alongside electric, hybrid-electric and autonomous variants intended for commercial and defence markets.

Earlier in 2026, Vertical selected Evolito for electric propulsion, Hyundai WIA for landing gear and Astronics for power distribution, while reporting piloted flight-test milestones and continued certification preparations.
