
TransDigm completes $1.066 billion Prince & Izant acquisition

TransDigm Group (NYSE:TDG) completed its acquisition of Prince & Izant for approximately $1.066 billion in cash, including certain tax benefits.
The acquisition was funded with cash on hand and adds a company that supplies specialty metal components and brazing alloys across aerospace, defense, turbine, and transportation markets.
TransDigm said Prince & Izant generates most of its revenue from aftermarket sales, offers nearly 10,000 active product SKUs, and receives the majority of revenue from specialty metals including gold, silver, and platinum alloys.
TransDigm Group designs, produces, and supplies aerospace components and systems for commercial and military aircraft markets.
The company said Prince & Izant was previously owned by Industrial Growth Partners and is expected to generate approximately $390 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2026.
