
TransDigm Group (NYSE:TDG), a leading global designer, producer, and supplier of highly engineered aircraft components, announced on April 7, 2026, the successful completion of its acquisition of Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings for approximately $2.2 billion in cash.
The transaction price includes the present value of certain tax benefits.
TransDigm funded the acquisition using a combination of cash on hand and proceeds from its senior secured and senior subordinated note offerings completed in February 2026.
The move significantly strengthens TransDigm’s dominance in the high-margin aerospace aftermarket.
Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra Aviation (the Companies) are premier providers of proprietary parts and repair services for the global aviation industry.
For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, the Companies generated approximately $280 million in combined revenue.
Their portfolio includes a vast array of FAA-approved Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) components and specialized maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.
The deal adds approximately 700 skilled employees to the TransDigm team and expands the company’s geographic footprint with multiple engineering and repair facilities across the United States and the United Kingdom.
