Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) sold 95,366 China-made electric vehicles in September, up 5% from 90,812 units a year earlier, according to China Passenger Car Association data.

The increase accelerated from a 3.6% year-over-year gain in August as Tesla continued to recover sales across some international markets.

The September total covered Model 3 and Model Y vehicles produced at Tesla’s Shanghai factory, including units exported outside China.

Shanghai-built vehicles are shipped to markets including Europe, Asia Pacific and Canada, making the plant an important production and export hub for Tesla.

September marked the 11th consecutive month in which deliveries of Tesla’s China-made vehicles increased from a year earlier.

The latest figures come as Tesla’s sales rebound in Europe continued, supporting demand for vehicles exported from its Shanghai facility.

The September performance extends Tesla’s run of annual growth in China-made Model 3 and Model Y deliveries after the 3.6% increase recorded in August.
