Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) reported third-quarter 2026 vehicle deliveries of 486,532 alongside total production of 464,391 vehicles.
The reported delivery figure declined roughly 2% from 497,099 a year earlier but climbed from the 480,126 deliveries recorded in the second quarter.
The quarterly performance successfully beat Wall Street expectations, topping StreetAccount's consensus estimate of around 461,100 deliveries.
The automaker noted that its entry-level Model 3 sedans and popular Model Y SUVs accounted for 98% of all total deliveries during the period.
The business continues to face heightened competition from Chinese electric vehicle makers while adjusting to the expiration of the U.S. federal tax credit.
