SFL Corporation (NYSE:SFL) agreed to sell seven tanker vessels to Trafigura for approximately $275 million in net cash proceeds.

The strategic divestment involves four LR2 product tankers and three Suezmax tankers currently operated by the purchasing charterer.

Delivery of the maritime assets is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.

The company expects the transaction to yield an aggregate book gain of approximately $175 million after contractual profit sharing and associated debt repayment.

The company stated that the specific per-vessel sale prices remain confidential under the finalized terms of the transaction.

The physical asset transfers will officially commence as the existing charter agreements terminate across the upcoming delivery windows.
