The transaction involves an oil major and schedules delivery of the 93,000 cbm vessels starting in the second quarter of 2028.
The shipping business stated that the aggregate yard construction cost for both vessels is expected to be approximately $216 million.
The fixed-rate time charters add a minimum of approximately $162 million to the company's existing contract backlog.
The customer holds contractual options to extend the time charters by up to 4 additional years beyond the primary term.
