Pony.ai begins driverless Robotaxi tests in Zagreb

• Pony.ai (NASDAQ:PONY) and Verne began fully driverless Robotaxi passenger tests on public roads in Zagreb, Croatia.
• The service is operating on a 22-kilometer route connecting Verne’s headquarters, a business district, and Zagreb Airport.
• The companies plan to expand coverage after their fleet recorded more than 200,000 kilometers and several thousand customer rides.

Pony.ai (NASDAQ:PONY) and Verne began fully driverless Robotaxi test rides with passengers on public roads in Zagreb, Croatia, covering a 22-kilometer route connecting key city locations.

The launch follows the companies’ April introduction of Europe’s first commercial Robotaxi service with Uber, where the fleet has completed more than 200,000 kilometers and several thousand customer rides.

The companies plan to expand fully driverless coverage across Zagreb in coming months, while Pony.ai’s seventh-generation Robotaxi uses an L4 domain controller based on NVIDIA DRIVE AGX technology.

Pony.ai develops autonomous driving technology and has reported more than 100 million autonomous kilometers globally, including over 40 million kilometers completed in fully driverless mode.

The Zagreb deployment adds to Pony.ai’s international autonomous mobility expansion efforts, with Verne supporting Robotaxi operations and vehicle deployment in Europe.
