Planet Fitness posts strong $365M quarterly revenue

Planet Fitness (NYSE:PLNT) reported Q2 2026 revenue of $365.2 million, up 7.1%, and attributable net income of $67.1 million.

System-wide same-club sales rose 1.7%, while adjusted EBITDA increased 3.5% to $152.8 million and adjusted net income declined 5.7%.

Planet Fitness opened 23 clubs, repurchased four million shares for $200 million and held $544.4 million in cash and marketable securities.

Planet Fitness also maintained about 7% revenue growth and 6% adjusted EBITDA growth.

Following the announcement, Planet Fitness's share price was up 1.1% at $56.59.

Franchise revenue rose 13.5% to $135.8 million, corporate-club revenue increased 3.5% and equipment revenue grew 4.1%.

The company ended June with approximately 21.5 million members across 2,930 clubs and continues targeting 180–190 openings during 2026.
