NIO (NYSE:NIO) reported second quarter 2026 total revenue of RMB32.1 billion (US$4.7 billion), up 69.1% year over year, supported by higher vehicle sales across its brands.
Vehicle sales reached RMB29.1 billion, increasing 80.1% year over year, while vehicle deliveries rose 49.4% to 107,658 units during the quarter.
NIO reported gross profit of RMB5.9 billion with an 18.4% gross margin, while vehicle margin reached 18.5%, and the company reported adjusted non-GAAP operating profit of RMB206.9 million.
The company reported a GAAP operating loss of RMB347.2 million and net loss of RMB528 million.
NIO develops electric vehicles, battery technologies, charging solutions, and smart mobility services through its NIO, ONVO, and FIREFLY brands.
As of June 30, 2026, NIO held RMB56.7 billion in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, short-term investments, and long-term time deposits, while subsidiary Shenji raised RMB493 million at a RMB12.25 billion post-money valuation.
