
NIO August deliveries jumps 14.5% to 35,836 vehicles

NIO (NYSE:NIO) reported August 2026 deliveries of 35,836 vehicles, up 14.5% year over year, including deliveries from its NIO, ONVO, and FIREFLY vehicle brands.
The August total included 21,174 NIO vehicles, 8,810 ONVO vehicles, and 5,852 FIREFLY vehicles, bringing year-to-date 2026 deliveries to 262,893 units.
NIO said it opened its 4,000th battery swap station and first fifth-generation battery swap station on August 7, expanding compatibility across its three brands and integrating FIREFLY into the NIO Power network.
The company reported cumulative deliveries of 1,260,485 vehicles as of August 31, 2026.
NIO develops electric vehicles, battery technologies, charging solutions, and smart mobility services, including its battery swap infrastructure network.
The company said the new ES8 reached 140,000 cumulative deliveries within 335 days and ranked first in China’s large SUV and above RMB400,000 vehicle segments from January through July 2026.
