Mobix Labs (NASDAQ:MOBX) announced a definitive agreement to acquire Vision Aerial, a U.S.-based drone manufacturer focused on aerospace, defense, infrastructure, and other industrial markets.

The acquisition adds Vision Aerial’s unmanned aircraft systems business to Mobix Labs’ portfolio, with Vision Aerial management projecting revenue growth of 46% in 2026 and 93% in 2027.

Vision Aerial develops American-built unmanned aircraft systems, including the Vulcan drone family, with the Vulcan SX designed for payloads of up to 3 kilograms and flight times of up to 65 minutes, while the Vulcan YX supports payloads of up to 10 kilograms and flight times of up to 60 minutes.

Mobix Labs said the acquisition is expected to support its M&A strategy focused on technology companies with established customers and expanding markets.

Vision Aerial designs and manufactures drones from its headquarters in Bozeman, Montana, serving customers including the U.S. Navy, USDA Forest Service, L3Harris, and energy and utility operators.

The company said its drones are designed for government, public safety, infrastructure inspection, mapping, energy, environmental, and national security applications, with Mobix Labs highlighting demand for U.S.-manufactured unmanned aircraft systems.
