Cadeler (NYSE:CDLR) signed a contract to support installing 87 offshore wind turbines at Dogger Bank C, beginning in Q3 2027.

The agreement adds installation capacity to the project's third 1.2-gigawatt phase, although Cadeler has not disclosed the contract's financial value.

"The campaign will also mark the first deployment of Wind Apex," said Cadeler Chief Executive Officer Mikkel Gleerup.

Wind Apex will operate alongside the project's existing installation vessel and may also support work across the remaining Dogger Bank phases.

Cadeler expects Wind Apex to begin operations in Q3 2027, following its scheduled delivery from the shipyard in the second quarter.

Dogger Bank is a 3.6-gigawatt offshore wind development owned by SSE (40%), Equinor (40%) and Vårgrønn (20%).

Cadeler previously worked with SSE on the Beatrice and Seagreen projects and has installation commitments for Poland's Bałtyk 2 and 3 developments.
