Mobix Labs (NASDAQ:MOBX) announced today that it has entered into a binding Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire Vision Aerial, a Montana-based manufacturer of high-end unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

The acquisition is designed to integrate Vision Aerial’s specialized drone technology into Mobix Labs’ existing portfolio, serving high-growth sectors such as national security, government operations, energy, and critical infrastructure.

Vision Aerial is recognized for its American-built UAS platforms, which are widely utilized for professional-grade missions requiring precision and reliability in challenging environments.

For Mobix Labs, this transaction represents a significant expansion into the global drone market, building on the company’s stated objective to drive growth through the acquisition of high-value, mission-critical technology providers.

The deal aligns with Mobix Labs' strategy to diversify its service offerings beyond core connectivity components.

By incorporating Vision Aerial’s manufacturing capabilities and its established footprint in public safety and infrastructure monitoring, Mobix Labs aims to create synergies between its connectivity hardware and the increasingly autonomous, data-driven requirements of the UAS industry.

While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the move indicates a pivot toward the rapidly expanding federal and industrial drone space.
