
Bitdeer signs $4.7 billion AI data center lease

Bitdeer (NASDAQ:BTDR) announced a 16-year AI and high-performance computing data center lease for its Tydal, Norway campus with a Volta subsidiary, covering 121 IT MW configured with NVIDIA GPUs.
The lease has a value of $4.7 billion, with potential total contract value reaching up to $8 billion if an eight-year extension option is exercised, while expected letters of credit total approximately $1.3 billion.
Bitdeer reported AI cloud deployment of 4,248 GPUs with 95% utilization, including 3,517 GPUs under external subscription, generating annual recurring revenue of approximately $76 million.
The company’s AI cloud pipeline reached 141.4 MW, including its 9.5MW A102 facility in Malaysia, which is fully committed under long-term offtake agreements with expected revenue of more than $800 million.
Bitdeer reported that it mined 1,190 Bitcoin in July 2026, up 322% year over year, with self-mining hash rate of 76.7 EH/s, co-mining hash rate of 18.7 EH/s, and total proprietary hash rate of 81.7 EH/s.
