Uniswap has launched its full protocol stack, including v2, v3 and v4, on Consensys-built Linea, a zkEVM Layer 2 network offering low fees and fast transaction finality.
The deployment enables traders and liquidity providers to access familiar Uniswap functionality on Linea, while benefiting from sub-cent transaction costs and Ethereum-level security.
Linea is already integrated into the Uniswap web app and API, with mobile wallet support on iOS and Android rolling out gradually across regions.
The network is designed as a Type 2 zkEVM rollup, allowing full compatibility with Ethereum smart contracts and enabling Uniswap’s architecture to operate with minimal changes.
This includes v2’s automated market maker model, v3’s concentrated liquidity system, and v4’s hook-based customisation features functioning seamlessly on the Layer 2.
The move builds on prior governance discussions between Consensys and the Uniswap community, positioning Linea as a strategic addition to its multichain ecosystem.
Uniswap’s expansion adds Linea to its existing deployments on Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon, further strengthening its presence across scaling networks.
As zkEVM adoption grows, the integration is expected to attract liquidity and activity to Linea, while reinforcing Uniswap’s role as core infrastructure in decentralised finance.
