Tether and Fasanara Capital have committed $400 million to StableFund, expanding USDT-backed private credit across fintech lending markets.
The firms will jointly sponsor StableFund and seek up to $3 billion more from third-party institutional investors.
“We are turning Tether’s origination network into a direct channel for capital to flow to the businesses and communities that need it most,” said Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.
Fasanara Capital will manage StableFund and invest in short-duration, asset-backed credit strategies through its global fintech lending network.
StableFund will integrate Tether USDt (CRYPTO:USDT) into SME and consumer lending flows across fintech platforms operating in more than 60 countries.
Tether will act as originator and adviser while providing USDT settlement infrastructure, including on- and off-ramps and treasury rails.
Fasanara Capital manages more than $6 billion and invests across SME loans, consumer credit, trade receivables and supply chain finance, while Tether expands USDT's role in global financial markets.
