  • Solana's 30-day real-world asset transfer volume rose 106% to US$8.68 billion, according to RWA.xyz.
  • The increase suggests tokenised assets are being traded and settled more actively rather than remaining idle after issuance.
  • Growing retail participation through tokenised equities and institutional adoption are both contributing to activity on the network.

Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) recorded US$8.68 billion in real-world asset transfer volume over the past 30 days, up 105.76% from a month earlier, while distributed asset value increased 36.27% to US$3.48 billion, according to RWA.xyz.

Solana also reported tokenised asset spot trading volume on decentralised exchanges increased from US$2.69 billion in the first quarter to US$5.7 billion in the second quarter, suggesting greater use of tokenised assets beyond their initial issuance.

RWA.xyz reported Solana had 293,558 real-world asset holders across 2,119 tracked assets, while launches of tokenised xStock equities linked to companies including Tesla and Nvidia added a retail-focused asset class to the network.

Institutional products have also expanded Solana's tokenised asset market, with BlackRock's BUIDL fund holding about US$615 million in assets on the network, Ondo's USDY accounting for US$181 million and Securitize-linked products managing nearly US$300 million.

Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) remains the largest blockchain for tokenised real-world assets, controlling 57.8% of tokenised fund assets under management valued at about US$35.6 billion, according to Token Terminal.

RWA.xyz also reported Solana held US$16.02 billion in stablecoin market capitalisation and processed US$541.34 billion in stablecoin transfer volume over the past 30 days, supporting trading, settlement and collateral activity for tokenised assets.

At the time of reporting, Solana price was $78.80.
