RockawayX is seeking $150 million for a new liquid opportunities fund after acquiring crypto hedge fund Relayer Capital.
The fund would target “undervalued tokens and crypto-related equities”, according to people cited by Forbes.
Austin Barack, Relayer’s founder, is expected to manage the new fund, according to the report.
RockawayX has not confirmed the acquisition or disclosed the fund’s fees, timing, minimum investment or investor eligibility.
Relayer reportedly returned about 70% in 2026, but neither firm has released audited results confirming that figure.
RockawayX says it oversees about $2 billion across investment, liquidity and blockchain infrastructure businesses.
The firm also runs venture funds, a market-neutral credit strategy, validator infrastructure and an on-chain liquidity business.
