CODE4Vets is a funding initiative backed by the Call of Duty Endowment that directs resources to organisations providing job placement support and workforce preparation for veterans.
"Give cash, stock, or crypto (XRP and RLUSD accepted),"
Ripple said, adding:
"Ripple will match your donation in XRP, up to a maximum match of US$10,000."
Donations to the campaign can be made using cash, stock, or cryptocurrency, with both XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) and RLUSD (CRYPTO:RLUSD) accepted through the fundraising page hosted by the Call of Duty Endowment.
The Call of Duty Endowment states it has facilitated the placement of more than 165,000 veterans into civilian roles to date, with a stated target of reaching 200,000 job placements by 2030.
Unemployment among younger veterans remains an ongoing challenge that the organisation cites as a key motivation for its continued fundraising efforts.
The total amount Ripple contributes will depend on donor participation, with the company's matching pledge capped at US$10,000 regardless of the overall funds raised.
The fundraising campaign remains open, with progress toward both the immediate fundraising target and the broader 200,000 placement goal dependent on continued public support.
At the time of reporting, XRP price was $1.15.
