Ripple has launched a mobile advertising campaign around the U.S. Capitol to promote the CLARITY Act, urging lawmakers to establish a regulatory framework for digital assets as Congress continues debating crypto legislation.
The company said the campaign is designed to maintain attention on the bill after the Senate recessed until 13 July, reducing the available legislative calendar before the August recess and increasing pressure on supporters of the proposal.
"The CLARITY Act would protect consumers, encourage responsible innovation, and help the United States remain competitive in the digital asset industry," Ripple said.
Ripple's campaign comes as lawmakers balance several competing legislative priorities, while the CLARITY Act remains on the Senate Legislative Calendar and continues moving through the congressional process.
The U.S. Department of Justice said the proposed legislation would not reduce prosecutors' or investigators' authority to pursue digital asset crimes, including cases involving drug trafficking, human smuggling and terrorism financing.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has also continued supporting congressional action on digital asset legislation while stating that a U.S. central bank digital currency is not being pursued under the current administration.
With Congress operating under a compressed timetable, Ripple's campaign highlights continuing industry efforts to encourage lawmakers to advance digital asset market structure legislation before the next legislative recess.
