MoonPay and Dunamu are exploring a strategic collaboration spanning stablecoin payments, corporate finance and blockchain infrastructure.
The companies plan to assess cross-border payments and fund transfers using stablecoins, alongside new digital asset-based financial services.
“For stablecoins to function as global financial infrastructure, it is important to have the technology and network to support not only cross-border payments and fund transfers, but also the real financial operations of businesses,” according to Bugeon Lee, Head of APAC at MoonPay.
The companies will also explore how digital asset infrastructure could support corporate finance and treasury operations.
“By combining Dunamu's blockchain capabilities with MoonPay's global financial infrastructure, we will explore new possibilities for digital assets and work together so that the GIWA ecosystem can expand into global markets,” Lee said.
The collaboration aims to connect MoonPay’s international services and partner network with Dunamu’s GIWA blockchain to expand access to its services and digital assets.
MoonPay serves more than 35 million customers across 180 countries and over 1,500 enterprise clients, providing payment and stablecoin infrastructure.
The companies plan to assess the technical and commercial potential of their proposed collaboration before identifying further business opportunities.
