KuCoin Pay expands into five new markets

KuCoin Pay has expanded into Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Bangladesh and Zambia by connecting crypto payments with local payment networks.
The service lets users pay with cryptocurrency while merchants continue using their existing QR codes, bank transfers or mobile payment systems.
“We are thrilled to announce that KuCoin Pay has integrated local scan and transfer capabilities across five more nations,” KuCoin said.
The expansion adds QR payments in Argentina and Peru, plus local bank and mobile transfers in Mexico, Bangladesh and Zambia.
KuCoin said the rollout is designed to make crypto easier to use for daily spending, and the company is privately held, so no share price reaction was available.
The company previously launched similar payment services in Brazil, Vietnam, the Philippines and Switzerland.
KuCoin said users can pay with more than 50 cryptocurrencies while merchants continue using their local payment systems.
