Clear Creek Financial Management disclosed about US$15 million in cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund holdings in its latest regulatory filing.
The filing shows the firm increased its exposure through listed crypto ETFs instead of holding digital assets directly.
The portfolio includes funds tracking Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) and other cryptocurrency investments.
The holdings were reported in a quarterly filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which requires institutional investment managers to disclose certain equity positions.
Institutional investors have increasingly used spot crypto ETFs since they became available in the United States earlier this year.
Crypto ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to digital assets through traditional brokerage accounts without directly managing cryptocurrency wallets.
