Australian crypto brokerage Caleb & Brown has entered the UK market, targeting high-net-worth investors after its US$100 million-plus acquisition.
The expansion comes one year after Swyftx Group acquired Caleb & Brown in 2025 and extends its services beyond Australia and the US.
“If you compare the UK to areas like the US, Asia and Australia, the level of investing in Bitcoin and other alternative risk assets is four or even five times lower,” said Swyftx Group co-CEO Andrea Yuen.
The UK ranked 11th in Chainalysis' 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index, while the FCA estimated 8% of UK residents owned crypto.
Swyftx said Caleb & Brown will focus on personalised execution for wealthy investors rather than competing directly with retail crypto exchanges.
Caleb & Brown already serves investors in Australia and the US, with the UK becoming its latest international market.
Yuen said the UK remains underserved by private digital asset services despite being one of the world's established financial centres.
