Bitdeer Technologies has signed a 28 MW joint mining agreement with Soluna Holdings in Texas.
The project will deploy about 1.93 exahashes per second of computing power at Soluna’s wind-powered facility.
Bitdeer’s Dory Creek subsidiary plans to begin installing SEALMINER A2 Pro Air machines in September.
The agreement differs from standard hosting deals because both companies will share mining revenue and risks.
The 28 MW capacity is expected to come online in phases, according to the report.
Soluna operates renewable-energy facilities that support cryptocurrency mining and computing applications.
The deal comes as Bitcoin mining companies seek lower power costs and more efficient hardware after the 2024 halving.
