Soluna partners with Bitdeer on 28 MW mining deployment

Soluna Holdings (NASDAQ:SLNH) announced that a subsidiary entered into an agreement with Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ:BTDR) to deploy approximately 28 MW of Bitcoin mining equipment at Soluna’s Project Kati 1 data center in South Texas.

The deployment will add approximately 1.93 exahashes per second (EH/s) of Bitcoin mining capacity and will begin in September 2026 through a phased rollout of mining equipment.

Under the agreement, Soluna will provide the site, power, and turnkey operations, while Bitdeer will provide and own its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining equipment, with both companies sharing proceeds generated from the deployment.

Project Kati 1 is an 83 MW wind-powered data center in Willacy County, Texas, and delivered its first gross profit in the second quarter of 2026, with the Bitdeer deployment located in the K1BC phase.

Soluna operates 192 MW of data center capacity across Project Sophie in Kentucky and Projects Dorothy 1, Dorothy 2, and Kati 1 in Texas, with an additional 14 MW under construction at Kati 1.

The company’s development pipeline includes 6.3 GW of projects in planning, development, and assessment with power partners as it expands renewable-powered computing infrastructure.
