Key points
- Bitbase launched ORIGIN, its first points programme, rewarding sustained user participation over 26 weeks.

- Users earn points through trading, platform assets, consistent activity and referrals.
Bitbase has launched ORIGIN, its first 26-week points programme, rewarding users for sustained platform activity.
The programme runs until 4 May 2027, with daily allocations based on each participant's contribution.
“Over a six-month season, that consistency carries weight,” Bitbase Chief Business Officer Nicholas Lo said in a statement.
Four activities determine individual contributions: trading, assets held on Bitbase, consistent participation and referrals.
Each successful referral adds a 25% contribution bonus for the referrer without reducing the new user's points.
Bitbase will issue Trading Identity cards from 9 November, followed by new cards every Monday throughout the season.
Existing eligible users received initial points based on previous platform activity, while all eligible users enrol automatically.
ORIGIN marks the first programme under Bitbase 2.0, which introduced an updated brand, application and website on 2 November.
