- Arcus aims to bring more real-world assets onto blockchain networks.
Robinhood-backed Arcus launched a decentralised exchange that supports trading across multiple asset classes.
The platform lets users trade cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities and foreign exchange through a single interface.
"Our goal is to make every asset globally accessible through blockchain technology," the company said.
Arcus said the exchange uses tokenised assets to give users onchain access to traditional financial markets.
The company said users keep control of their assets because trades are settled through self-custody wallets.
The launch comes as more crypto companies expand into tokenised versions of real-world assets.
Arcus said it plans to add more tokenised assets as demand for blockchain-based trading continues to grow.
