  • WhiteRock Lithium has extended the strike length at its Spodumene Mountain prospect by 115% to 1,400m following its initial seven drill holes.
  • The company's shares traded unchanged following the exploration update.
  • The drilling campaign aims to complete a grid programme ahead of delivering a maiden resource estimate in the first half of 2027.

WhiteRock Lithium (ASX:WLC) extended the strike length of its Spodumene Mountain prospect from 650m to 1,400m after intersecting pegmatite in seven new diamond drill holes in Québec.

The new results added 350m of strike to the southwest and 400m to the northeast beyond the boundaries of the 2024 drilling campaign.

Simon Hay, Chairman and CEO of WhiteRock Lithium, said, “More than doubling the strike length at Spodumene Mountain to 1.4km, with spodumene pegmatite confirmed in every new drill hole, demonstrates the scale and continuity of the system.”

Visual estimates of mineral abundance should never be considered a proxy or substitute for laboratory analyses, the company noted in a cautionary statement.

The initial seven drill holes of the 2026 programme intersected lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatite intrusions with visual intercepts measuring up to 77.4m.

Following the announcement, the WhiteRock Lithium Corp share price was unchanged at $4.26.

The 2026 drilling programme at the Banana Lithium Project is scheduled to run from June through October.

The company stated that three diamond drill rigs remain active on site to complete grid drilling and support a planned maiden mineral resource estimate in the first half of 2027.
