  • ACDC Metals commenced fieldwork at its Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project in Nevada.
  • The exploration programme includes a permitted 2,500-metre drill programme and geophysical surveys.
  • Field activities aim to refine drill targets and build future project news flow.

ACDC Metals (ASX:ADC) started field work at the Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project in Nevada to support a maiden drill campaign.

The company previously secured an environmental permit from the Bureau of Land Management to execute a 2,500-metre drill programme at the site.

“The CSAMT survey will sharpen the targets defined by our aeromagnetic and radiometric survey. Our maiden drill programme will then build on the historical results reported on April 30, aiming to confirm historical mineralisation, test its extents and validate our understanding of the system,” said ACDC Metals CEO Tom Davidson.

Crews began civil works for access tracks and drill pads while launching a controlled-source audio magnetotellurics geophysical survey.

The survey will refine targets at the Pegasus Zone and 3 Shaft Zone before drilling begins.

Following the announcement, the ACDC Metals share price was unchanged at $0.042.

Mount Jackson sits in Nevada's Walker Lane mineralised belt, which has a historical background of gold and silver production.

Earlier surface sampling by the company at the project yielded rock samples containing up to 14.9% copper.
