Voltaic Strategic Resources acquires Western Australian gold assets
- Voltaic Strategic Resources agreed to acquire 100% of Diamandia to secure five exploration licences across three Western Australian gold projects.
- The transaction includes an initial cash payment of $330,000 alongside up to $2 million in deferred cash payments.
- The acquisition aims to expand the company's Western Australian gold exploration portfolio and add systematic exploration targets.
Voltaic Strategic Resources (ASX:VSR) signed a binding share purchase agreement to acquire Diamandia from Famien Resources (ASX:FMN).
The transaction adds three gold exploration projects to the company's existing Western Australian asset portfolio.
“These acquisitions significantly expand Voltaic's exposure to gold in Western Australia at a modest acquisition cost of $330,000, plus up to $2 million in additional payments upon the satisfaction of various project milestones,” said Voltaic Strategic Resources Chairman Daniel Raihani.
The target assets include the Rocky Ridge, Three Springs, and Tampia West gold projects across five granted exploration licences.
The deal supports the company's strategy to increase gold market exposure through structured asset acquisitions.
Following the announcement, the Voltaic Strategic Resources share price was unchanged at $0.021.
The Rocky Ridge Project feature includes a key geophysical anomaly extending over a 6.5-kilometre untested strike length.
The Three Springs and Tampia West areas add aeromagnetic and structural exploration targets located in established Western Australian mining regions.
