Voltaic Strategic Resources (ASX:VSR) acquired full ownership of the Ruby Gem Project for $42,500 in cash to expand its Western Australian exploration portfolio.
The purchase of granted prospecting licences P 51/3399 and P 51/3400 adds immediate target areas to the company's existing landholding in the Meekatharra district.
"The acquisition of Ruby Gem further strengthens our position in the Meekatharra region and is consistent with our strategy of building a focused Western Australian gold exploration portfolio," said Voltaic Strategic Resources Chairman Daniel Raihani.
The transaction with vendor Complete Prospecting has no conditions precedent and was executed alongside the mobilisation of a contract geological team for surface mapping and sampling.
Following the announcement, the Voltaic Strategic Resources share price was down at $0.025.
Voltaic holds a mix of battery and precious metals exploration assets in Western Australia.
The broader Meekatharra Project spans three main sub-project areas within proximity to active regional processing infrastructure.
