NRW’s Fredon secures $120M infrastructure contracts
NRW Holdings (ASX:NWH) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Fredon, has secured a suite of major infrastructure contracts across Victoria and Western Australia with a combined value of approximately $120 million.
The influx of new projects underscores the company's expanding footprint in critical electrical, communications, and security systems within complex, live environments.
In Victoria, Fredon has been awarded an additional $69 million electrical package by Lendlease for an ongoing data centre project.
The boost elevates Fredon’s total contract value for the site to roughly $155 million, with works slated for completion in August 2027.
The company has secured a $26 million electrical and communications package for the Bunbury Hospital Redevelopment, an essential regional upgrade scheduled to run from April 2026 to April 2028.
Educational sector infrastructure features heavily, with a $16 million contract for the University of Western Australia’s 14-storey Nedlands Student Accommodation project—partnering again with Lendlease—and a $10 million electrical and security package for Alceon’s 835-bed student accommodation development on Wellington Street in the Perth CBD.
Both student housing projects are expected to finalise in mid-2027.
Fredon CEO Scott Olsen attributed the wins to the company's proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure in high-stakes environments.
NRW Managing Director and CEO Jules Pemberton highlighted that the awards showcase Fredon's operational diversity and its vital role in supporting essential services for growing regional communities.
At the time of reporting, NRW Holdings’ share price was $7.24.
