Haranga Resources strikes 32m gold intercept
- Haranga Resources hit a 32-metre intercept averaging 10.4 grammes per tonne of gold at its Lincoln Project.
- Haranga Resources shares surged 32.08% following the drilling announcement.
- The drilling aims to convert inferred mineral estimates into higher-confidence indicated resources to support project mine planning.
Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) intersected 32m at 10.4 grammes per tonne of gold during its second-phase underground drilling campaign at the Lincoln Project in California.
The high-grade discovery contrasts with narrower mineralised zones previously modelled at the southern deposit.
"Our priority with this programme is to improve resource confidence needed for mine planning and potential ore reserve estimation as part of a planned PFS," said Haranga Resources Managing Director Patrick Mutz.
The overall programme covers 16 planned holes totalling 1,500 m, with more than half completed ahead of scheduled wrapping in early November.
The technical updates support a upcoming preliminary feasibility study for the Lincoln site.
Following the announcement, the Haranga Resources share price was up to $0.075.
The Lincoln property holds an estimated mineral resource of 2.46 million tonnes at 5.1 grammes per tonne of gold, containing 402,000 total ounces.
Approximately 77% of the total contained gold remains classified in the lower-confidence inferred category.
