Greenwing Resources (ASX:GW1) has commenced its first bulk brine sampling programme at the San Jorge Lithium Brine Project in Argentina to provide physical samples for direct lithium extraction testwork.
The physical testwork follows the completion of desktop shortlisting and marks a transition from theoretical research to hands-on technology analysis.
The specialist lithium brine project manager Zelandez is leading the programme alongside the company's in-country team in the Catamarca Province.
Representative brine samples will be drawn from multiple depths under the project's existing environmental approval to analyse recovery rates and chemistry.
Following the announcement, the Greenwing share price was down at $0.07.
The programme sits within a broader ongoing scoping study at the site, which follows a previously completed maiden mineral resource estimate.
