Fed May Need to Act Soon on Inflation, Hammack Says

Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland President Beth Hammack said it's reasonable to keep rates steady for now due to uncertainties around the economic outlook, but "it may soon be appropriate for policy to act to address the growing risks of persistently elevated inflation." Hammack spoke Tuesday at an event in Cleveland.
