EU Forecasts Show Stagflationary Shock, Dombrovskis Says

European Economy Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis says the euro area is facing a "stagflationary shock" as real GDP forecasts for 2026 dip, and inflation is seen accelerating beyond the European Central Bank's 2% target. Dombrovskis spoke to Bloomberg's Oliver Crook in Brussels after the European Union's executive arm released its Spring 2026 Economic Forecast.
