EBR Systems reports lower Q3 commercial implants
- EBR Systems completed 40 commercial implants in Q3 2026, down from 46 in Q2.
- Preliminary Q3 revenue is expected to be between US$2.4 million and US$2.5 million.
- The commercial drop followed leadership changes and refocusing on deeper utilisation within active accounts.
EBR Systems (ASX:EBR) reported 40 commercial implants for Q3 2026, falling below prior quarterly expectations.
The lower implant count compares with 46 completed in Q2 2026, driven by a drop in September volume.
"We believe the shortfall was due to commercial leadership transitions, which were done to correct the commercial execution. I take responsibility for that, and I believe these are temporary corrections that will put EBR on a stronger path to success," the company stated in its update.
The company cited commercial leadership transitions, field training, and organisational restructuring for the slowdown.
Following the update, the business expects Q3 revenue of US$2.43–2.53 million, while the EBR Systems share price was unchanged at $0.24.
During the quarter, the FDA completed a pre-approval inspection of the company's Santa Clara facility with two observations.
The expanded manufacturing plant holds the potential capacity to generate approximately US$607.6 million in annual revenue.
