Altitude Minerals begins drilling at Byrock Project

Share

Altitude Minerals (ASX:ATT) commenced its drilling programme at the Byrock Copper-Gold Project, situated within the richly mineralised Macquarie Arc in New South Wales.

Managing Director Duncan Chessell confirmed that a UDR1000 drill rig, mobilised by Resolution Drilling (NSW), is already on-site and operational in the shallow-cover terrain.

The primary objective of this exploration campaign is to drill-test concealed, porphyry-style mineral systems hidden beneath shallow surface cover.

The targets represent a highly prospective extension of the well-known Macquarie Arc geological formation, which historically hosts major Tier-1 copper-gold deposits.

The current programme has been designed to test key pipe-like geophysical targets in a highly disciplined and cost-effective manner.

The commencement of drilling at Byrock represents a critical milestone for Altitude Minerals and its investment pipeline.

The company has expressed strong confidence in its systematic approach to exploring the undercover targets.
