David Roman, US medtech and healthcare IT research analyst for Goldman Sachs, said that AI play a 'significant' role in helping patients stay on top of their diabetes, with companies like Abbott and Dexcom using new technology to count carbohydrates and deliver the right amount of insulin. Roman, joined by Bloomberg health reporter Madison Muller, said that he came away from Goldman Sach's annual medtech conference 'very bullish' on innovation across the industry.
