Adisyn (ASX:AI1) has deposited low-temperature graphene across a full 200mm semiconductor wafer.
The 200mm wafer provides approximately 300 times the surface area of the company's prior 1cm² test coupon.
"Achieving that step provides important validation of our technology and development approach," said Adisyn Managing Director Arye Kohavi.
Independent testing confirmed graphene across 12 sampled locations on the wafer at temperatures below 300°C.
Following the announcement, the Adisyn share price was unchanged at $0.160.
Adisyn stated that the result provides a pathfinder towards 300mm wafer formats used in advanced computing.
The company is developing low-temperature atomic layer deposition processes to grow graphene directly onto semiconductor wafers.
Adisyn (ASX:AI1) secured commitments for an $14 million institutional placement.
