4DMedical secures US Outpatient expansion contract

Share

4DMedical (ASX:4DX) has secured a commercial agreement with SimonMed Imaging, marking an expansion of its next-generation CT-based functional imaging technology into the United States outpatient market.

Under the three-year contract, SimonMed will immediately deploy 4DMedical's advanced quantitative cardiopulmonary analysis solutions, CT:VQ and LVAF, across its extensive network on commercial terms.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, SimonMed is one of the largest and most influential physician-led radiology practices in the US, operating over 170 outpatient imaging centres across 10 states.

The integration of 4DMedical’s scalable Software-as-a-Service delivery model will complement SimonMed's existing CT imaging services to enhance clinical decision-making for pulmonary assessment.

While the agreement is not immediately financially material, it represents a substantial long-term commercial opportunity for the Melbourne-based company.

A core component of the partnership involves collaborating to support the development of reimbursement evidence for CT:VQ.

SimonMed will share insurance and claims data across its vast network to inform future payor engagement with both public and private providers.

At the time of reporting, 4DMedical’s share price was $3.77.
