Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM) completed the sale of Pizza Hut operations outside Mainland China to LongRange Capital for approximately $1.5 billion, subject to purchase price adjustments.
The transaction follows Yum!’s previously completed sale of Pizza Hut China to Yum China Holdings, bringing the total value of Pizza Hut divestitures to approximately $2.7 billion.
The agreement includes an opportunity for Yum! Brands to receive an additional earn-out payment of up to $75 million by 2030 based on future performance.
Yum! Brands said the sale allows the company to focus on its remaining operations.
Yum! Brands operates global restaurant brands including KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut across multiple international markets.
The company said it plans to continue focusing on digital capabilities, restaurant economics, and technology platforms such as Byte by Yum! following the Pizza Hut transactions.
